Developing local dairy farming

At Globifield we are proud to have delivered a full aircraft of Holstein Friesian breeding cattle to Arla's first farm outside Europe. Nigeria has one of the fastest-growing populations in the world, and the current local dairy production only covers around 40% of the demand for dairy products. The cattle was sourced with our partner VikingLivestock in Denmark and will be inseminated with 100% high-quality sexed semen, ensuring rapid growth of the herd and high milk yields, supporting the agricultural growth in Nigeria.
